With a diverse client base that includes businesses, individuals, nonprofit organizations, and governmental entities and officials, Susan is a creative, knowledgeable attorney dedicated to solving problems and resolving disputes for her clients. Susan handles civil and commercial cases in state and federal courts and in regulatory, administrative, and arbitration proceedings. Susan has litigated numerous cases involving significant constitutional issues and other matters of public interest in areas such as voting rights, reproductive rights, collective bargaining, open government, utility rate-setting, and renewable energy, among others. Susan has also advised and assisted renewable energy developers with project development and permitting. Susan has authored amicus briefs in important voting and election law cases, including an amicus brief in the U.S. Supreme Court in Gill v. Whitford in support of the plaintiff’s constitutional challenge to Wisconsin’s gerrymandered legislative districting maps.
