I have a passion for connecting people with volunteer opportunities from fitness goals to lifesaving acts in their community to across the country. I have been in the field of volunteer and event management for over 17-years. I consider myself a self-taught nonprofit social media guru and enjoy sharing my knowledge with others. I love to travel, ride my 1970 Schwinn around the Madison area, live music, getting involved in my community and as a Wisconsin native I like my beer and cheese. I am also known for my laugh.

Brings to Board

Passion, enthusiasm and a lot of energy not to mention a great laugh! My greatest strengths are in Volunteer Management (recruitment, retention and recognition), planning and execution of special events and fundraising. I believe my greatest achievement came while serving on the executive planning team for the Red Cross "Dancing with Our Stars" fundraising campaign over its ten-year existence. During that time, the event raised more than $3 million for the local organization. In its final campaign that concluded this past February, a record crowd of more than 1,300 people attended the highly-visible event which raised more than $400,000 for programs and services. I personally contributed to this effort through a grass roots social engagement campaign raising $80,000 as a "Star Dancer" participant in 2014 and in 2018.
