Summary

Chrysalis is comprised of four core programs:

Supported Employment - Individualized Placement and Support (IPS) The Supported Employment Program is available for individuals who are seeking community-based competitive employment. Services are directed by the participant, integrated with mental health treatment providers, and time-unlimited. IPS is an evidence-based practice from Dartmouth University (www.dartmouthips.org).

Chrysalis Pops - Social Enterprise A Madison-grown social enterprise that offerings community members an opportunity to gain meaningful, paid work experience. Participants work with community partners from seed to sales; growing and harvesting local organic produce, transforming it into delicious frozen fruit pops in the kitchen, and then selling them at farmer's marketing and special events throughout our community.

Vocational Peer Support The peer specialist movement embodies Chrysalis’ strengths-based perspective. Vocational peer supports give persons with mental illnesses the opportunity to use their unique set of recovery experiences in combination with solid skills training to support peers who have mental illness achieve their vocational goals.

Service Facilitation A Person-centered, holistic approach to care coordination, with an emphasis on work as recovery. Service Facilitation offers a wide array of recovery services to adults with mental health and/or substance use challenges. Primary services include assessment, recovery planning, and care coordination.
