Bio
Melissa has over 13 years of experience working in Accounting/Controller roles in a variety of industries. She has a wealth of knowledge in financial reporting & analysis, corporate treasury management, internal & external audit support, as well as extensive experience with a variety of financial reporting software packages. She has a passion for teaching and supporting financial literacy, domestic violence survivors, and a special place in her heart for all dogs. She spends her spare time quilting/sewing, reading, and spending time with her family.
Prior volunteer experience includes Junior Achievement Volunteer Teaching, managing United Way workplace campaigns, and a member of the Accounting Careers Committee for the Wisconsin Institute of CPAs.

Hopes for a Board Seat
I am fairly new to the Madison area and wanted to find a way to give back to this new community that I now call home. I've been actively involved in many non-profits via volunteering, and now at this point in my life and career I think its time to use my skills to do more.
